Delivery
Delivery is by courier (except parcels weighing less than 2 kilo which are sent via Royal Mail) and for goods which are in stock normally takes around 3 days from order for UK destinations and a few days longer for overseas deliveries. For goods sent by courier we will email you the tracking number for your delivery after dispatch so that you can check it online, if you want to.
Please let us know if you need your order very urgently, or if you have a specific delivery date in mind (e.g. beginning of school term). There's space to do this during "Checkout" - see "Special Delivery Instructions - When?"
For goods out of stock (shouldn't happen but I'm afraid it does) the delivery time can longer, just depending on the schedule for our next container. If delivery is likely to be more than a week we'll contact you to see whether you're happy to wait or prefer to cancel or change your order.
Delivery cost is calculated by weight (based on estimated average weights) and in a few cases by volume, see note 1. below:
Please note:
- Occasionally very bulky items attract a surcharge from our courier - in these cases we will contact you for approval prior to dispatch.
- Only mainland destinations in the UK and Europe are covered; for offshore destinations please email for a quote.
- You the customer are responsible for paying all customs duties and VAT, if any, charged by your country of residence. Any non-paid duty or VAT charged back to us will be re-charged to you together with an administration charge of £20 per consignment. You are also liable for all costs relating to any goods returned due to non-payment of duty and VAT.
