Ocean drums are so called because when tilted they sound just like waves landing on the beach. All the drums are double-sided goatskin and contain metal and plastic beads, which roll around and make the distinctive ocean sound. Sizes vary from 25cm (10") diameter up to 50cm (20") and the drums are available either plain or painted with fish and sea motifs. The bigger the size, the bigger and more realistic the sound. The 50cm version has to be heard to be believed.
