These innovative gong bags can be used both to cover the gongs when not in use and also as a carry case, when moving them around. There are different sizes for different diameter of gong (all designed for the deep Balinese gongs) and they're colour-coded for ease of use. The bags are made from heavy duty cotton canvas and are padded on both sides. They have a shoulder strap as well as a handle and there's a clever zip plus flap opening so that the bag can be fitted over a gong even while it's on its stand. This is the smallest of our gong bags and fits a 30cm diameter gong. |

Gongs are traditionally covered when not being played. This is partly to protect them and partly out of respect for the instruments and the spirits that reside within. |
