Description

 

This simple metal drum stand takes the weight of the big dundun drum, raising it from the ground and providing a stable playing height. The smaller drums, the sangban and kenkeni are then hung from the sides of the dundun using 2 ingenious metal connectors that slot in behind the outermost metal ring. The stand is perfect for solo dundun playing.
 
 
 
 
How it's Made

 

Made from recycled lengths of steel reinforcing rods - those used to reinforce concrete. The metal lengths are soldered together to make a very strong base.
