These Packs are designed for First Access Class Instrumental teaching and Wider Opportunities projects and have been tried and tested in schools throughout the UK. They give you everything you need to enable a whole class to experience music making, improvisation and performance using easy to play classroom percussion instruments and cover the requirements of the new National Music Plan and the National Curriculum.

Each Pack contains a set of carefully selected, hand-made instruments and a Teacher's Guide complete with teacher's notes, preparation advice, warm-ups, lesson plans and six tunes from around the world. The Guide has been written for teachers from any discipline and takes teacher and pupils step by step from basics through to their first performance. No prior experience or specialist musical training is necessary and you don't even need to be able to read music!
