These are rather like our egg shakers, except they're spherical and, played in pairs, they also make a wonderful knocking sound.
 
How it's Played

 

If you encircle each ball with your thumb and forefinger and then cup your hands together, making the balls knock against one another, you'll produce a chunky knocking sound. You'll find that the more the balls are enclosed in the cup of your hands, the deeper the sound produced. Great for playing at the bus stop.
