We make our flutes from bamboo because this gives them a beautifully mellow sound (sweeter than a recorder) and because bamboo is fast-growing and low-cost. There are three available sizes - 25cm, 35cm and 50cm - though other sizes are available to order. We did make a 1 metre version but it took two people to play it!
